Kyle’s Six Pix Spooktacular!
Oct 30, 2008 Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Misfits, Queens of the Stone Age, TV On the Radio, The Horrors, UNKLE

“I’ll Swallow Your Soul!” Edition
6. Queens Of The Stone Age – “Burn The Witch”, Even though I prefer Q.O.T.S.A. with Mark Lanegan, they always put on a good show. This clip has skeletons and a zombie (?) witch, who is played by Mr. Lanegan’s better half.
5. Misfits – “Scream”, I’m not sure if this is supposed to be so grainy, but this is the version with extra zombie footage. This track is a little older than most in this edition of the Pix, but it’s directed by the insanely talented George Romero.
4. U.N.K.L.E. – “An Eye For An Eye”, This track starts out as just creepy and weird, but then things take a horrible turn. A Trojan horse, rape and then total evil takes over. This band has a lot of creepy videos and I like most of them.
3. The Horrors – “Sheena Is A Parasite”, My buddy Dillabough turned me to this band a while back. They’re really good. I’ve been a fan of Samantha Morton ever since she took her top off in Sweet And Lowdown and this clip is directed by Chris Cunningham (who is responsible for every Aphex Twin video that keeps me up at night). This track is quick and dirty.
2. Jon Spencer Blues Explosion – “She Said”, The first time I saw J.S.B.X. live, Spencer had this southern Baptist persona he was playing with, so having him play a werewolf in a convent is pretty funny to me. Hot girl with fangs and nun boobies!
1. TV On The Radio – “Wolf Like Me”, I think this band will be huge very soon, they have an amazing sound. A buddy of mine worked on this video; if you know where I work, that should make sense. This clip has a great 70’s exploitation film feel about it. Happy Halloween bitches…
